Reporting Requirements

Per NIST SP 800-53, “Separation of duties addresses the potential for abuse of authorized privileges and helps to reduce the risk of malevolent activity without collusion.”

Specifically, Per AC-5 of NIST SP 800-53, organizations are to “...Identify and document organization-defined duties of individuals requiring separation and…Define system access authorizations to support separation of duties.” The keyword here is “document”, which means you need a policy and procedure for AC-5.
