Reporting Requirements

Per NIST SP 800-53, “Continuous monitoring at the organization level facilitates ongoing awareness of the security and privacy posture across the organization to support organizational risk management decisions..”

Specifically, Per PM-31 of NIST SP 800-53, organizations are to “Develop an organization-wide continuous monitoring strategy and implement continuous monitoring programs...” Furthermore, Per CA-7, organizations are to “...Develop a system-level continuous monitoring strategy and implement continuous monitoring in accordance with the organization-level continuous monitoring strategy.”
